Gear Guide
What good is a travel blog if it doesn’t have a travel gear guide? So here I present my long term travel packing list. My gear philosophy is to use high-quality, lightweight & durable stuff.
While I try to travel in a low-cost way, my gear can sometimes be expensive. It needs to be functional, multi-purpose, and strong. Clothes need to be comfortable yet tough, because I’m not taking that many of them. I’d rather purchase high quality equipment once instead of having to buy cheaper stuff over and over again when it falls apart. This tactic is better for the environment too!
I also do a TON of research before I make any purchase, to ensure I’m receiving the most bang for my buck. Because of this, I’m rarely disappointed.
My travel packing list may not work for everyone because I sometimes camp out on the road, hitchhike, or stay with locals to save money. I also like to be completely self-sufficient, just in case that town isn’t as close as I thought it was or unexpected things happen…
So here is what I’ve brought with me. Click on the links for more info.
